Best Tattoo Butterfly

Tattoo Butterfly

Best Tattoo Butterfly
If your looking to get a tattoo butterfly inked into your flesh then there are a few things that you should know about this beautiful, and almost angelic insect. Almost every culture throughout the world has revered the butterfly. But, in different cultures it’s inherent symbolism can mean different things. In Japan, the tattoo butterfly represents emerging beauty and grace, with the added instruction to regard all change as joyful, not traumatic. The tattoo butterfly symbol was displayed as both a Clan or Family crest and as an emblem on the armor of samurai warriors. The butterfly was favored for the dual nature of its delicate and elegant symmetry, and its transcendent evolution from a lowly caterpillar to noble insect, carried aloft on radiant wings of color and beauty. Likewise, the Native American honours the Butterfly as an emblem of guidance in change. In China, it is still a popular symbol of marital bliss and conjugal harmony. So, as you can see the tattoo butterfly is often one that inspires us to greater spiritual height. Take the tattoo butterfly design in the picture as an example to help you choose a design that fit’s in with your personal body style.
Best Tattoo Butterfly
The tattoo butterfly is one of the most popular designs being done today. It probably ranks right at the top of those being done on women, and is a symbol that has even come to typify the tattoos of the 90s. While tattoo butterfly designs surely do capitalize on their great beauty and diversity, they are also highly symbolic creatures in many cultures, including our own. In Japan, one butterfly stands for young womanhood while two symbolize marital bliss. To the Aztecs of ancient Mexico however, the butterfly stood both for the souls of dead warriors who had fallen on the battlefield and the souls of women who had died in childbirth, the two most noble deaths of which an Aztec could conceive. In Christianity it likewise stands for the soul which has escaped the confines of the flesh. In the West, the tattoo butterfly is the symbolism of the butterfly as it centers upon its unique transformation. From it’s beginning as the slow crawling caterpillar, then to the dormant and captive chrysalis or cocoon, and finally the rebirth into a light and airy winged creature, the metamorphosis of the butterfly is one of its most powerful and uplifting meanings that can be seen in tattoo designs today.

Gemini tattoo Design

The Gemini tattoo is among the most sought after of the astrological tattoos. For people born between May 22nd and June 23rd, there are very many tattoo designs which are formed around the Gemini theme.

In astrology, Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac. The accompanying tattoo revolves around the symbolism of twins, and the concept of duality, with Apollo and Artemis the deity images usually invoked.
Gemini tattoo Design

Gemini tattoos represent the idea of twins in a variety of ways, through for instance, the use of Roman numerals, the depiction of twin cats, and blazing skulls.

Also common is the depiction of wolves from ancient Remus and Romulus mythologies. Roman numerals such as II often form the base for simpler designs. Important also to note is that Castor, the head of the right twin, and Pollux, the head of the left, are the two most important stars of the Gemini and hence get real prominence in Gemini tattoo symbolism.

For many people, the favoured location for the Gemini constellation tattoo is the arm or leg, with black ink the favoured coloring. Other favourites include the lower-back and stomach. Courtney Fox of Friends spots a white Gemini tattoo on her stomach.

best tattoos for women

As tattoos for women, especially in the back area, become more and more popular, is it true that women who have lower back tattoos, cannot have an epidural to assist with delivery of their babies, and what are the dangers associate with back tattoos if any?
best tattoos for women
Once again this subject has hit the news, and just as in the past, has panicked many women who have a back tattoo and are pregnant.

There is actually very little information available since so few studies have been done. The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) are currently conducting some studies about the inks used in tattoos.

According to Mayo Clinic obstetrician and gynecologist Roger Harms, M.D., most pregnant women who have lower back tattoos, can receive epidural,s. except if the tattoo is fresh and covers a large area, in other words, the skin is still healing. There have been very few studies on tattoos for women in the back area in fact there have been very few studies about tattoos in general and there is little conclusive evidence showing an increased risk of infection.

There are only three vertebrae where an epidural can be administered. They are L1, L2, and L3. This is also the area where back tattoos are positioned. Most anesthesiologists will give an epidural block to a pregnant woman with a lower back tattoo, and where possible will choose an area without a tattoo to inject the needle.

Does that mean that some doctors will still refuse to administer an epidural, sadly yes, if they believe that the practice may be detrimental or dangerous to the woman, then they can and will refuse to give an epidural, despite information to the contrary. Many medical practitioners will err on the cautious side rather than risk the health of the woman with the back tattoo.

If you have a back tattoo then it is a good idea to discuss your options with your doctor before the birth of your baby, and if you are planning on getting a tattoo to celebrate the new arrival, why not consider waiting until after the birth, again, discuss it with your doctor.

Pub Med, the Mayo Clinic and BME concluded that there is no proof to substantiate the dangers of tattoos and epidural,s

If having a tattoo is something you really want to do but are worried about the risks to you and your baby then why not try henna, henna has been used by women in the middle east, especially Egypt for thousand and thousands of years, and is believed to bring good luck during pregnancy, and can last up to four weeks. If you do decide to go in this direction, be aware that you do not use black henna. Black henna is a very dangerous substance and should never be used, ever, so stay with the safe and gorgeous colored orange and brown hennas.

Wing Tattoo

Wing Tattoo
Most wings tattoos come off the shoulder blades and go down the back. but this wings tattoo is unique. It comes off a central hub, which happens to be a lock, and goes across the upper part of the back and wraps onto the shoulders. This design is not very common, especially with the lock. This design is obviously meant to be a more masculine tattoo, with a rougher look and a darker shading then the common wings tattoo design. The edges of the wings have a ruffled look to them, and the shading on the tips of the wings is more pronounced then usual. The wings in this design or more symmetrical then most wings tattoos are, and the artist even equaled out the shading on each wing. One really uncommon feature of this tattoo is the lock. Most wings tattoos are meant to look like they are sprouting out of the back, but this tattoo is showing that the wings are being held together with the lock. The shading on the lock even has a masculine look to it, with a darker shading. Though not the stereotypical wings tattoo, it is still a great design and a great piece of artwork.
Wing Tattoo
When most people think of wing tattoos they think of designs that include angel or fairies. Or they thing of designs that include butterfly or dragonfly wing. But, really this is a limitation of the wing tattoo. The design is so versatile that almost anything can be incorporated into it. One of my favorite all time designs involved a wall clock that had wings sticking out from the side of it. Another design that I have seen recently involved a picture of a family pet with wings coming out of it’s sides. It was done really well and was used as a memorial for a deceased dog. But, the tattoo in the picture takes it all. It’s a Detroit Red Wings tattoo!! It was gotten by a die hard hockey fan who wanted to show his support of the team. It’s a really cool design but it gives me pause for a moment. What happens if the team changes it’s emblem or is sold to another team? Will the bearer of this wing tattoo still want to keep the logo on his skin? These are all important considerations that you need to make before getting any design inked into your skin. Logos and trademarks may seem cool at first but the longevity of the symbol may be limited.
